SilverMax™ X-Series Integrated Hybrid Servo

The SilverMax X-Series is a fully integrated Hybrid Servo Motor with feedback, a Controller/Indexer, and a Digital Driver in a compact package. All communications and power are accessed through a single 19 pin M16 connector. The interface includes 7 I/O, all of which support both LVTTL and analog signals, and one of which also supports 0 to 10v analog. A processor back-up power input and a hardware drive enable are also included. Communication via CANopen and RS-485 serial, which may be operated simultaneously. The driver is rated to 6A continuous per phase. The system is designed for use at +12.5VDC to +48VDC.

Features include:

  • Available in NEMA 23 or 34 Frame Sizes

  • Supports RS-485 Multi-Drop, 8-Bit ASCII, 9-Bit Binary, Modbus RTU, DMX-512, and CANopen Communications

  • 7 digital inputs or outputs

  • Input power range from +12.5 to 48VDC on NEMA 32; up to 72VDC on NEMA34

  • All Available in 4 stack lengths

Silver Nugget™ Servo Drive/Controller

The SilverNugget N2-IX is a servo controller/driver for QCI’s line of NEMA 11, 17, 23, and 24 frame, high torque, direct drive, servo motors. The N2-IX Servo Controller/Driver is designed to operate QCI’s I-Grade motors through a single motor interface cable, which carries motor power and encoder feedback. This single cable solution allows for easy installations and simple cable routing. The Silver Nugget N3-IX is used with the NEMA 34 I-Grade Motors.

Power, communications, and I/O are accessed through a single DB15 high density interface connector. The interface includes 7 I/O, all of which support both LVTTL and analog signals, and one of which also supports 0 to 10v analog. A hardware drive enable is available as a factory option. All 7 I/O also have soft configurable pull-up/pull-down resistors, which may also be disabled, for more flexibility.

Mosolver™ with Built-in Feedback Sensor

The Mosolver is an innovative servo motion actuator which infuses a position feedback sensor into the very structure of a high pole count AC motor. This eliminates the need for costly encoder and resolvers. By combining the motor and resolver into a single package, the Mosolver enables a compact, inexpensive and robust closed-loop motion control. Visit the Mosolver website for more information.

Benefits:

  • No Encoder Needed

  • Cost Effective

  • Energy Efficient

  • Quiet Operation

  • Physically Robust

  • Compact and Precise
